New GRN Studio update

We have been working on our new studio plans for a long, long time! We are finally at the pointy end of the process and the plans should be out to tender as you read this newsletter.

For the past few months a few handy people have been in our warehouse making over 140 acoustic panels! They have been sawing, sanding, hammering, gluing and staining. This herculean effort will save many thousands of dollars and improve the sound quality of the studios.
We plan on building three studios in the area where we assembled the Sabers. One will be large, able to accommodate a group or band and be useful for videoing and creating sound effects. It will have a control room that will also double as an editing room and there will be a third small studio.

This extra capacity is much needed as we often have studio work being done in the corridor. It will also prove useful when we bring in recordists from around the world for training. We have highly skilled audio specialists and it makes sense to provide here where trainees have access to a variety of experts with different areas of expertise.
Please pray as we receive quotes from builders and seek to choose the builder who will do the best job for us at a reasonable price. We are expecting a price tag around the $300,000 mark but will have a better idea very soon.
